January 3rd

I looked for famous people born on January 3rd because my first cousin was born that day. The first five names that came up were Sabre Norris, Vy Quaint, Jisoo Kim, Runik, and Lincoln Markham. I never heard of any of them: three YouTubers, a Pop Singer, and an Instagram Star, all between the ages of 15 and 35. Finally I recognized the sixth person, activist Greta Thunberg (age 17). Numbers 14 (Eli Manning) and 15 (Mel Gibson) were the next two I recognized. They are younger than me but in an older generation than the famous people today is breeding. A dead person (J.R.R. Tolkein) finally appeared in the Number 39 spot. I began to wish I was born on January 3rd because maybe I could have made this list if I had applied myself (whatever that means). I decided to check out the Famous Person List for August 20th to see if I was on it. I should have been Number 10 of 35, behind only Demi Lovato, Amy Adams, Robert Plant, Ron Paul, Al Roker, Don King, Fred Durst, Connie Chung, and David O. Russell. I did not know the other 25. Well maybe I heard of the Korean singer Haha. I am depressed but not about being left off the list. I just cannot believe I am so out of touch. How can I be blogging every day about topical subjects when I do not even know what is going on and who is making the world turn? What days have births of A-list famous people? I was directed to September 9th where Adam Sandler, Akshay Kumar, Hugh Grant, Luka Modric, Leo Tolstoy, Michelle Williams, Colonel Sanders, and Michael Buble were the first eight named. That is a better start than January 3rd but the really famous must be hanging out together somewhere.
