Someone Else

I am guided by the philosophy that my conduct is acceptable if someone else is doing something worse. I am comfortable driving five miles over the speed limit if someone else is going ten over. What I tip my barber is acceptable as long as I know someone else is tipping less. I am not drinking too much alcohol when someone else at the party is drunker than me. I am giving enough to charity provided someone else is donating less. Someone else is not a very good role model but I am always happy to see him.
